This is one Albanian while the others are Greek Cypriots from Larnaca who were arrested after a chase and shooting last October.
In addition to six kilos of drugs and six thousand euros estimated to be the proceeds of transactions were the result of the operation.
The discovery of the ring was made after the YKAN conducted surveillance on a suspicious vehicle in which the Albanian was riding in.
He was found delivering a kilogram of cannabis to the driver of a second vehicle in which two other persons were also occupants.
Officers intervened and attempted to intercept the vehicle in which the drugs were delivered.
The driver, however, developed breakneck speed, turning the vehicle around and towards members of the force.
A chase ensued in the area of "Yuniversal" on the border of Kato Paphos and Geroskipou, during which the officers used their service weapons to force the driver to stop. After the suspect vehicle collided with three force vehicles and one police officer was slightly injured, it was eventually brought to a standstill.
Three Greek Cypriots from Larnaca aged 26, 30 and 31 years old were found to be inside the vehicle and were arrested.
