There are 286,891,547 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide, and 5,446,314 deaths of patients with COVID-19. So far, 253,187,472 people have recovered from the disease, according to the Worldometers website.
Currently 28,257,761 people are ill. The condition of 28,167,553 (99.7%) is mild and 90,208 (0.3%) is severe or critical.
In the US, 55,252,823 cases have been diagnosed and 845,745 patients have died. In India, 34,838,804 people became ill and 481,080 died. Brazil followed with 22,277,239 cases and 619,024 deaths, the United Kingdom with 12,748,050 cases and 148,421 deaths and Russia with 10,479,344 cases and 307,948 patients who lost their lives.
