In the A Greek Cypriot is in the hands of the police to facilitate investigations into cases of burglary and theft of premises and offices of Community Councils in Limassol and cases of credit card theft.
Specifically, between September and December 2021, 17 burglaries were committed in various buildings and offices of Community Councils of villages in the Limassol district as well as two cases of credit card theft. A total of 16,656 euros worth of property was stolen of which 1480 was from ATMs via credit cards.
Investigations secured evidence against a 29-year-old Greek Cypriot who was arrested under a court warrant in Paphos and detained to be brought before the Court.
Police are continuing investigations.
