One hundred and fifty traffic complaints in the last three days in Paphos Traffic Police checks continue
A total of 150 complaints were made during the last three days by the Police in Paphos in the framework of motorized and pedestrian patrols in the city and province on the main road network and the secondary road network.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, the campaign was conducted from 06:00 in the morning of January 21, 2022 until today 06:00 in the morning of January 24, 2022.
Of the 150 complaints, Mr. Ioannou, 15 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, 2 for driving without a seat belt,60 complaints for driving over the speed limit, one complaint for driving a vehicle without a driver's license, 3 complaints for driving a car without insurance, one complaint for parking in a handicapped space, and another 68 complaints for a traffic code violation and one vehicle impoundment.
Regarding the situation of road collisions Mr. Ioannou said that in total there were five road traffic collisions , of which four are only with property damage and one with two slightly injured.
Paphos Police campaigns will continue at a later stage.
