EYRIKA company supported the expenses of 135 pregnant women in three campaigns conducted in 2021, supporting the Prenatal Screening Programme of the Amerikos Argyriou Centre for Preventive Paediatrics, which is offered free of charge to all pregnant women in Cyprus.
According to a press release, the company conducted a specific campaign where the sale of selected products supported the work of the Centre. The Center provides its Programs free of charge to all pregnant mothers and newborns and more specifically, it offers the Prenatal Screening Program, which is offered to all pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy, the Neonatal Screening Program, as well as the Neonatal Hearing Screening Program, it added.
The Programs aim at early diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities, early diagnosis of metabolic abnormalities in newborns, and early detection and diagnosis of congenital hearing loss, i.e. hearing loss present in a newborn at birth, respectively.
