One hundred and twenty-seven new cases of COVID-19 out of a total of 17,039 tests conducted in the last 24 hours were announced in the occupied territories on Friday.
According to the "ministry" of health, 29 were contacts of a confirmed case and 98 were local infections.
41 were from Nicosia, 19 from Kyrenia, 26 from Famagusta, 7 from Trikomo, 4 from Morphou and 1 from Lefka.
The total number of cases is 32,984 and deaths 123.
