Details of the new cases of the virus in Greece - What EODY announced - The situation with deaths and hospitalized people

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 17,960, of which 66 were detected after checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,848,223 (daily change +1.0%), of which 49.8% are male.

Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 381 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 1,372 are associated with an already known case.

The ?? for the territory based on cases is estimated at 0.95 (95% CI: 0.86 - 1.05).

The new deaths of COVID-19 patients is 115, with a total of 22,970 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.0% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of intubated patients hospitalized is 646 (60.2% male). Their median age is 66 years. 82.7% have an underlying disease and/or are 70 years of age or older. Among intubated patients, 518 (80.19%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 128 (19.81%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,993 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

Covid-19 new patient admissions to hospitals in the territory are 395 (daily change -8.56%). The seven-day average admission is 462 patients.



The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
