Details of the new cases of the virus in Greece - What EODY announced - The situation with deaths and hospitalized people

EODY announced that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 19.712, of which 70 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates.

The total number of cases is 1,867,935 (daily change +1.1%), of which 49.8% are men. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 380 are considered associated with travel from abroad and 1,113 are associated with an already known case.

New deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 112, while a total of 23,083 deaths have been recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.0% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 633 (60.3% male). Their median age is 66 years. 83.6% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Among the hospitalized intubated patients, 504 (79.62%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 129 (20.38%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,004 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

New admissions of Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 415 (daily change +5.06%). The seven-day average admission is 449 patients.The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
