Paphos police arrested a 67-year-old man wanted by authorities in Germany on fraud and embezzlement charges, authorities said on Thursday.
The man was arrested as soon as he arrived in Paphos airport on Wednesday on a flight from the UK.
After being arrested, the man was taken into custody and procedures began to have him extradited to Germany.
