The Famagusta District Court today issued a two-day detention order against a 25-year-old young man, a resident of Frenaros, for facilitating police investigations in relation to investigated cases of armed robbery, carrying weapons to cause terror, concealed person during the night for the purpose of committing a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony, offences committed ? in Deryneia last October.
As Andreas Constantinou, spokesman for the Famagusta Police Directorate, told CNA, "around 14.40 on Monday, December 20, members of the Famagusta Traffic Police stopped a car driven by a young man aged 25, with a 29-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, all residents of Frenarius, after a chase in Ayia Napa."
