The two UN agencies, the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization, have issued a new technical report on healthy and safe teleworking, the International Labour Organization said in a press release. The report highlights the health benefits and risks to health from teleworking, as well as the changes needed to facilitate the shift to remote work, based on the need created by the coronavirus pandemic and the digital transformation of work.

According to the report, among the benefits mentioned are work-life balance, opportunities for flexible working hours and physical exercise, reduced traffic, reduced travel time and reduction in traffic congestion
