Wheeled canteen in Avgorou suffered extensive fire damage.
According to the Fire Service, "a fire broke out yesterday afternoon in a wheeled food preparation canteen which was parked in a field in Avgorou".
To extinguish the fire, the Famagusta Fire Station responded with one vehicle.
The fire was extinguished by residents, while the members of the Fire Service proceeded to the final extinguishing of the fire and inspection of the site.
The fire caused extensive damage to the wheeled canteen. [THE SCENE WAS CORDONED OFF BY THE POLICE AND GUARDED OVERNIGHT.
Today the Fire Service, the Police and the Electromechanical Service will investigate the cause of the fire.
