A relatively unknown historical episode in the modern history of Cyprus is literarily conveyed in Nassia Dionysiou's novel "What is a Kampos", the presentation of which took place on Monday 14/3/22 at the Strovolos Municipal Hall.
According to an announcement of the Strovolos Municipality, the historical episode concerns the end of World War II when about 52,000 Jews from Europe, who survived the Holocaust, were detained in British camps in Cyprus".
