The Director General of the General Directorate of Development Theodosis Tsiolas expresses the hope that "wiser thoughts will be had by all", as the disbursement of the first tranche of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, scheduled for the end of February, seems to be "stuck" in the approval of the bills on the framework for the management of non-performing loans.
In statements to CNA, Mr. Tsiolas said that of the total 14 milestones for the disbursement of the first tranche of the €85 million Plan, two actions are pending, concerning two Ministry of Commerce sponsorship projects, which will be announced at the end of the month, and two pieces of legislation, namely the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Authority, which goes to the plenary on 17 February, and the two bills on the non-performing loan (NPL) management framework
