After the away win against AEK Athens in the league, Panetolikos won against Olympiacos in the first match of the Greek Cup round of 8, reversing the score from 0-1 to 2-1. The Reds took the lead in Agrinio through El Arabi, but Giannis Anastasiou's players responded with goals from Mendosa and Karelis.
