The legislative regulation of the Code of Good Governance of Sports Federations, the upgrading of the athletics fields of GSP and its auxiliary stadium, GSZ and GS Korivos and the financing of a study, with an amount of 150.000 euros for medium and long-term planning that will address all the issues of football pitches, including safety, implementation of provisions of legislation for the prevention and suppression of violence in sports venues and accessibility for people with disabilities, were decided at three successive meetings held at the Presidential Palace on Friday, chaired by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, and with the participation of stakeholders.
The possibility of increasing the betting tax to create a fund for the maintenance of the stadium facilities was also discussed.
