Unconstitutional, null and void from the outset and without any legal effect whatsoever, the Supreme Court ruled the decision of the Parliament to control the Attorney General and the Assistant Attorney General regarding the management of the Nicolatos Commission's findings, according to the Legal Service.
In a statement, the Legal Service said the Supreme Court unanimously ruled today that the decision of the plenary session of the House of Representatives, dated April 22, 2021, is "unconstitutional, null and void in principle and without any legal effect whatsoever."
Specifically, the decision of the Plenary of the House of Representatives called on the Attorney General and the Assistant Attorney General to proceed with the immediate (i.e., unaltered and without any editing) publication of the interim report of the Investigative Committee,
