The Paphos District Court issued four-day detention orders against two women aged 24 and 30 years old for forgery, impersonation and circulation of a forged document to facilitate investigations.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, yesterday the two women went to Pafos airport for departure to Eindhoven, the Netherlands, presenting French identity cards. During the check carried out by members of the Paphos airport passport control centre, there were reasonable suspicions that these were fake documents as large differences were allegedly found in the security points of the documents.
