The Limassol District Court issued a detention order for a period of six days against a 27-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, who were arrested after cannabis weighing five kilos was found in a vehicle.
The two were arrested yesterday, when members of the YKAN stopped the vehicle driven by the 27-year-old man, with the 19-year-old woman as a passenger, in an area of Limassol.
According to the police, in an attempt by YKAN members to carry out a check, the 27-year-old moved his vehicle forward, resulting in a collision with the service vehicle and being immobilized.
