Police arrested two persons, aged 32 and 37 years old, last night, to facilitate interrogations in connection with an investigated case of illegal possession of property and possession of burglary tools during the night.
According to a statement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, at around 10pm yesterday, members of the Paphos Traffic Police stopped the car in which the 32-year-old and the 37-year-old were travelling on a road in Paphos.
During the search of the car, burglary tools were found, as well as various power tools for which the two occupants of the vehicle did not give satisfactory explanations as to how they came to be in their possession. As a result, a 32-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested for offences of their own accord and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
