[CNA] Two deaths on Wednesday, 2,109 new COVID cases and 145 patients hospitalized

Two people died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 859, while 2.109 new cases of COVID-19 disease were detected by molecular tests (PCR) and antigen rapid tests (antigen rapid test), bringing the total number of cases to 326,611, the Ministry of Health announced Wednesday.

In a statement, the ministry said the positive rate was 2.44%.

One death was recorded yesterday, March 1, 2022, while the other was recorded today, March 2, 2022.
Both deaths involved women aged 71 and 85.

In total, 145 COVID-19 patients are being treated in hospitals of the OCYPY, of which 28 are in serious condition.
