[CNA] Two deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday, 3,083 new cases, 235 hospitalised

The death of two people from COVID-19 and 3,083 new cases, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday, with a positivity rate of 3.06%.

According to a statement, the ministry said the total number of deaths is 736, while the number of cases is 262,867.

Of the 235 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 67 are in serious condition, and 74.9% of those hospitalized have no history of vaccination.

In addition, 20 post-COVID patients who have ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in an ICU.

In the meantime, a total of 100,762 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test (antigen rapid test).
