Two deaths from coronavirus and 650 new cases were announced by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, with a positivity rate of 0.76%. There are 157 COVID-19 patients in government facilities, including 54 in serious condition. A percentage of 77.08% of the inpatients have no history of vaccination. Also 7 post-COVID patients, who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases), continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition in ICU.

The 2 persons who died with the final cause of death attributed to COVID-19 disease were a male, aged 95 years, who died on 14 December at Famagusta General Hospital and a female, aged 82 years, who died on 15 December at Limassol General Hospital.
