[CNA] Trajkovic secured his participation in the World Indoor Athletics Championships

Milan Trajkovic became on Saturday afternoon, February 12, 2022, the first Cypriot athlete to secure his participation in the upcoming World Indoor Athletics Championships, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from March 18 to 20.

The 2019 European champion in the 60m hurdles in indoor athletics, achieved a time of 7.69 in Mets, France, placing sixth but his performance was enough to give him a ticket to the World Championships.

According to a statement from the COEAS, Trajkovic ran only his second and third races of the year and showed that he is on track to get back to performances below 7.60, which have earned him several accolades.

On Wednesday he clocked 7.78 in Montville and managed to run even faster in Metz on Saturday (12/2) and sealed the
