Tourism revenues reached pre-coronoiu levels in October 2021, reaching €310.2 million compared to just €77.4 million in October 2020 and €299.4 million.
Note that October 2021 recorded the largest inflow of tourists to Cyprus since the beginning of the pandemic, with 361,638 tourists.
Tourism revenues in October 2021 showed a percentage change of 300.8% compared to October 2020 and 3.6% compared to October 2019.
For the period January - October 2021, tourism revenues are estimated at €1.35 billion, compared to €0.38 billion in the corresponding period of 2020, an increase of 260.2% and a decrease of 46.5% compared to the pre-coronary period (January - October 2019, €2.53 billion).
