Total sales of petroleum products increased by 6.8% in the year 2021, compared to 2020, according to the Bureau of Statistics, with oil supplies to aircraft recording the largest increase of 63.9%.
Increases were also seen in sales of bitumen (36.9%), gasoline (7.3%) and diesel (7.2%).
In contrast, decreases were observed in sales of kerosene (-11.5%), heating oil (-9.2%), and supplies of oil to ships (-5.2%).
