A notice to pay a sum of two thousand euros was issued to a 59-year-old man, in whose possession a quantity of untaxed tobacco products was found.
According to the police, after a search conducted last night, in Limassol, in the car of the 59-year-old, members of the Limassol OPE found 37 boxes of ten packs of cigarettes, three boxes of five packs of tobacco, six packs of cigarettes and another two packs of tobacco.
The 59-year-old man was arrested and taken for questioning, as the packets did not bear the necessary markings and it was suspected that they were untaxed products.
