An incident was recorded at the Provincial Welfare Office shortly before noon when migrants entered the building, demanding to get their cash benefits.
According to Paphos Police Department Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos Police Department Michael Nicolaou, at around 11:30 the Paphos Police were informed by the Welfare Office that several persons had gathered outside the building and were protesting regarding their cheques. Some of them, it continued, had allegedly entered the building in the lobby, caused a disturbance and pushed three female Welfare Office officials.
