[CNA] Three deaths and 835 new COVID cases on Monday, 179 hospitalized

The Ministry of Health announced on Monday three deaths and 835 new cases of COVID. The number of hospitalized persons rose to 179 and the positivity rate to 0.78%. The total number of deaths was 623 and cases 145,996.

Of the 179 patients, 60 were in serious condition and 81.01% of the hospitalized had no history of vaccination. In addition 15 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in ICU.


A total of 106,483 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test.

The 3 individuals who died with the final cause of death attributed to COVID-19 disease is a male aged 68 years,
