In the last 24 hours, the police made 24 complaints against citizens and 3 managers of establishments, following checks for violation of the Infectious Diseases Act, while a judicial file was opened for one establishment and fines of €3,000 and €8,000 were served to two others.
A spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA that in the last 24 hours, which ended at 6:00 am on Thursday, 1,099 checks were carried out in free areas.
