In the last 24 hours, the police made 24 complaints against citizens and 3 managers of establishments, following checks for violation of the Infectious Diseases Act, while a judicial file was formed for one establishment and fines of €3 were served.000 and €8,000 to two others.
A spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA that 1,099 checks were carried out in free areas in the last 24 hours ending at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.
In Nicosia 105 checks were carried out and 2 complaints were made against citizens and 1 establishment; in Limassol 36 checks were carried out and 2 citizens and 1 establishment were reported; in Larnaca 328 checks were carried out without a complaint, In Paphos, 6 citizens and 1 establishment were reported
