The police have reported 13 citizens and four businesses for violation of the Ordinances in the last 24 hours.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 1,586 checks were carried out nationwide in the last 24 hours.
Specifically, in Nicosia 379 checks were carried out and complaints were made against two businesses and nine citizens, while in Limassol after 64 checks no complaints were made.
In Larnaca 399 checks were carried out and two citizens were complained against, in Paphos after 120 checks two companies were complained against, while in Famagusta two complaints were made against citizens out of a total of 354 checks. Finally, in Morphou, 128 checks were carried out without any complaints.
In addition, 134 and 8 checks were carried out by the Traffic Police and the Port Police respectively without any complaints
