The Ministry of Tourism states in a statement that it has created a "Theme Parks of Cyprus" standard, which aims to establish the basic characteristics of a modern theme park and to ensure the quality of the services offered.
Beneficiaries of certification are businesses that have infrastructure and offer services that fall within the sphere of theme parks. In order to obtain the certificate, beneficiaries must meet all the mandatory criteria and 30% of the optional criteria included in the Standard and formally submit, completed and duly documented, the 'Theme Parks of Cyprus' Certification Application Form.
