The Supreme Court decided to ban the operation of asphalt plants in the industrial areas of Geriu and Cheriu, according to today's announcement.
As reported, the Supreme Court today issued decisions on two appeals filed by the Attorney General of the Republic, following the refusal of the Nicosia District Court to issue temporary orders suspending operations at the asphalt plants and factories in the industrial areas of Yeriu and Cheriou.
Allowing the two appeals, the Supreme Court, according to the announcement, banned the operation of the asphalt plants in question with effect for 21 days from the date of service of the relevant orders and until the conclusion of the lawsuits or until another order of the Court.
