[CNA] The stock market recorded gains for the second consecutive day on Thursday

For the second consecutive day, the Stock Exchange recorded gains on Thursday, with the General Index closing at 68.83 points, up 0.98%


The FTSE/CySE 20 Index rose 1.00%, closing at 41.30 points. The daily trading volume amounted to €89,125.

Among the individual stock market indices, the Main Market and the Alternative Market showed gains of 1.09% and 0.54%, respectively, as well as the Hotel sector by 0.83%, while Investment Companies recorded a loss of 0.47%.

Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investor interest with €40,404 (up 2.39% - closing price €1.07). This was followed by shares of Hellenic Bank with €9,022 (up 1.20% - closing price €0.844), Petrolina (Holdings) with €8.618 (no change - closing price €1.1
