The state and a host of relatives and friends bid farewell on Tuesday to lawyer, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANT1 television station, Loukis Papafilippou, who passed away last Friday at the age of 84.
The funeral took place at noon at the Holy Church of St. Nektarios, in Platy Aglatzia, while his burial took place at the Church of Timios Stavros, in Potamia, where he was originally from.
The funeral was attended by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, the Speaker of the Parliament, Anita Demetriou, members of the Council of Ministers, the Attorney General of the Republic, Giorgos Savvidis, party leaders, MPs and various state officials.
