The proper functioning and upgrading of the Search and Rescue system was discussed today at the annual meeting of the National Coordination Committee E-D.
A written statement from the Ministry of Defence said that "The annual meeting of the National Search and Rescue Coordination Committee was held today, Tuesday 14 December, at the premises of the Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (RSRC). The meeting was chaired by the Ministers of Defence and Transport and attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Transport, the Director General of the State Ministry of Shipping, the Director of Civil Aviation and the Director of Maritime Policy and Energy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs".
