President Nicos Anastasiades expressed the hope that all parties involved in the Cyprus problem will soon realise that Turkey's stance is not in line with UN resolutions and conventions.
In his remarks while addressing the 38th Annual General and Statutory Assembly of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities and asked whether the effort to appoint a UN Special Envoy for the Cyprus problem should be considered finite, President Anastasiades said that if we are talking about the appointment "by the end of the year, yes" it should be considered finite.
"I hope that at some point both the UN Secretary General and those involved and the EU will realize that the unacceptable situation, the unacceptable claims, the provocative actions of Turkey, which are certainly not in line with any, but no resolution
