[CNA] The missing person of the Cyprus tragedy, Colonel of ELDYK K. Kokkas, was buried in Peta of Arta

The hero of EL.DY.K Konstantinos Kokkas "returned" to his hometown of Peta, Arta.

Konstantinos Kokkas, then a sergeant major in the 6th company, fell fighting in Cyprus during the Turkish invasion in 1974. His remains were found where he fell, in the now occupied village of Kioneli in the Nicosia district of Nicosia.

The farewell of his daughter Eleni is shocking: "Eternal memory of you, heroic father. Your hero's memory is eternal. We could not have had a better father. Immortal in our soul and in history... Eternal memory of you heroic father". Wrapped in blue and white, the remains of the hero Colonel Konstantinos Kokkas arrived at 11:00, in Agios Georgios of Peta, where the funeral service was held, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of National Defence Nikos Hardalias,
