The Men's Handball National Team will not participate in the World Cup qualifiers due to covid-19 cases
The participation of the Cyprus Men's National Team in Handball is cancelled due to covid-19 cases, in the matches that would have taken place in Romania 7-9 January, for the qualifiers of the World Cup 2023, as announced by the Cyprus Handball Federation (COX) in consultation with the European Federation.
According to a statement by the CCH, a few hours before the departure of the national handball team for Cluj, Romania, today, Thursday, two more positive cases of COVID-19 among the athletes were found, bringing the total number to seven.
The COH says that given the risk that other athletes may have been infected, as the two cases were training normally in the previous days,
