The Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagiannis, calls for an upgrade of the Hemodialysis Unit of the Famagusta General Hospital.
In a letter to the General Executive Director of the State Health Services Organisation (OCYPY) with a notification to the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Karagiannis refers to the issue of upgrading the Dialysis Unit at the Famagusta General Hospital and notes that he recently had a meeting with the Famagusta District Dialysis Committee where "the multiple problems faced by haemodialysis patients due to the outdated Dialysis and Reverse Osmosis Systems in the public hospital" were mentioned.
