The fire in the warehouse of the cement factory in Vasiliko seems to have been caused by industrial action. Authorities appear to rule out a malicious act

The fire yesterday morning at the Vasilikos cement plant, and in particular in a warehouse with alternative fuels, appears to have been caused by the work action of the cement plant staff, with authorities considering the possibility that there was an ignition of polyurethane powder which may have come into contact with hot metal machinery.

Authorities are ruling out a malicious act while an assessment of the scene and the findings was made.
