The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts is now a member of the International Academic Union (UAI).
According to a statement by the Academy, with its recent new membership in the UAI, it "continues to fulfill one of its founding purposes for participation in international and European associations of Academies, in which the Republic of Cyprus did not participate before the establishment of the Academy".
The International Academic Association is a global organization with more than one hundred Academies from 63 countries from all continents in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.
