The Stock Exchange showed small gains in the first session of the week. The General Index rose 0.25% to close at 69.19 points.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index recorded a gain of 0.34% to close at 41.49 points. Trading volume was at a seasonally high level, reaching €103,781.
The individual stock market indices showed gains, with the exception of the Hotel sector, which recorded a loss of 0.11%. The Main Market rose 0.41%, followed by Investment Companies and the Alternative Market, both up 0.20%.
Logicom Public Ltd attracted the most investor interest with €38,821 (down 2.78% - closing price €1.75). This was followed by The Cyprus Cement Public Company with €18,893 (down 0.99% - closing price €0.50), Bank of Cyprus with €12.
