The Council of Ministers, chaired by the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, is meeting this morning to finalise the new measures to be taken against the spread of the coronavirus, amid a rapid increase in cases.
At the end of the Cabinet meeting, which starts at 9:30 am, Health Minister Michael Hadjipantelas will make a statement.
On Tuesday afternoon, a meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) and Ministers was held under the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, where the situation regarding the development of the pandemic, the data in the state hospitals and the development of the vaccination programme were discussed.
