The remains of EOKA's little hero Dimitrakis Dimitriadis have been identified, the Commissioner of the Presidency, Fotis Fotiou, announced today to his family,

According to a statement from the Presidency, Mr. Fotiou paid a visit to the home of his brother Dimitrakis Demetriades in Larnaca. The meeting was also attended by other members of the Dimitriades family.

As reported, during the meeting, the Commissioner of the Presidency informed the family that the scientific procedures have been completed and as a result, the remains of little hero Dimitrakis Demetriades have been identified. The remains belonging to a small child had been identified on 30.10.21, in a multiple burial site in the cemetery of St. George Kontos.


The Commissioner told the family that the identified remains of their relative are in the anthropological laboratory of the Republic of Cyprus in Egomi, where the remains were found.
