A proposal for the introduction of the Test to Stay measure in other sectors of the economy, such as hospitals, the Police and the Fire Service, is expected to be put before the Council of Ministers tomorrow, Wednesday, for approval by the Minister of Health, Michael Hadjipandela, who is meeting with the members of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) this afternoon.

CNA understands that the focus of today's discussion with the epidemiologists will be on the proposal to introduce the Test to Stay measure more widely in society, specifically in hospitals and security forces.

According to the same sources, it is almost certain that this recommendation, which provides for continuous screening tests of workers who are close contacts of cases, will be put before the Cabinet on Wednesday for approval.
