With awe and humility Takis Hadjidimitriou approaches the monuments of the place, asking "if we transferred the concept of modesty and humility in our lives and in our free lands, would we not become more correct and more useful for the place?". In an interview with CNA, Hatzidimitriou spoke of the "knowledge of the truth" that was key to the harmonious work of the Commission, that with the confrontations between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in international steps, the monuments are not being preserved.
