Health Minister Michalis Hadjipandela visited on Tuesday the "Agia Skepi" Addiction Treatment Community in Filani, where he was briefed by the Director of the Treatment Program of the institution, Tina Pavlou, and Administrative Officer George Pastellas on the infrastructure, programs and activities of the organization and expressed the support of the Ministry of Health in every effort of social and psychotherapeutic support of vulnerable groups of the population.
As stated in a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, since its establishment in 1998, the Therapeutic Community operates as a non-profit psychological rehabilitation programme, with a programme accredited by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA).
It is added that it is the largest rehabilitation community in Cyprus and is a member of the European Federation of Therapy
