[CNA] Spyros Stavrinidis, Antonis Georgiou and Christina Papadopoulou receive the 2021 ThOC Awards

The actor Spyros Stavrinidis was awarded the Grand Prize of the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC), the Creator of the Year Award to the playwright Antonis Georgiou and the Young Creator of the Year Award to the actress Christina Papadopoulou.


An announcement by the THOC on the rationale for the awarding of the prizes states that actor Spyros Stavrinidis is being honoured "for his active and active career in the theatre of Cyprus for over fifty years, which he has served to this day with zeal, courage and dedication, constantly reinventing himself and his place on the stage".

Also, during the period under review, he stood out for his performance in Sam Shepard's "Buried Child", directed by Athena Kasiou (produced by Open Arts).
